Nobody’s lining up for the grilled nugs.

Let’s be real: the fried ones are the best. But summer’s around the corner, and I’m trying to hang on to this trophy husband status for dear life, which let me say is not easy when your job is cooking for the internet and “taste testing” everything nonstop.

That said, grilled nuggets still hit, especially when you pair them with the honey mustard. It’s the sauce that makes them crave-worthy. Here’s how to make both at home, no insane drive-thru line required.


Things to Know

Takes: 45 minutes, but only like 8 of that is actually cooking
Serves: at least 6

Required Tools

  • Mixing Bowls

  • Chef’s Knife (I just bought a Kikuichi knife and it’s changed my life)

  • Cooking surface - grill, cast iron, or griddle
